Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 June 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using Reticle.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Reticle (the "Service"), operated by [Your Registered Business Name], based in Bosnia and Herzegovina ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Reticle lets your reviewers leave visual feedback on a live web page, lets you discuss that feedback, and lets you hand an approved comment to an AI coding agent that proposes and commits a change to a Git repository and branch you connect. Reticle is a platform that coordinates this workflow; it does not itself author code — an AI coding agent (currently Anthropic's Claude) performs the change using an AI provider key you supply.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your reviewers and team members' use of the Service.

4. Your repositories, keys, and content

You connect your own Git account, repository, and target branch, and you supply your own AI provider API key. You represent that you have the right to connect those repositories and the sites you collect feedback on, and to allow automated changes to them.

  • You choose which branch the agent commits to. The agent commits only to the branch you connect and nothing else. If you connect a production branch, changes will affect production — that choice is yours.
  • You are responsible for reviewing, testing, merging, and deploying any change before relying on it.
  • You retain all rights to your code, content, and feedback. You grant us a limited licence to process it only as needed to provide the Service.

5. AI-generated changes

Changes proposed by the AI coding agent are automated and may contain errors, omissions, or unintended effects. They are provided on an “as is” basis. You are solely responsible for reviewing every change before it is merged or deployed. We do not guarantee that any change is correct, complete, secure, or fit for any purpose, and we are not responsible for changes you choose to deploy.

6. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties including your Git provider (e.g. GitHub), your AI provider (e.g. Anthropic), our hosting and infrastructure providers, and our payment provider. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or harmful purposes;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data;
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
  • use the Service to access repositories or sites you are not authorised to modify;
  • resell or provide the Service to third parties except as permitted by your plan.

8. Plans, fees, and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our third-party payment provider (a Merchant of Record), which may collect applicable taxes. Prices are shown at sign-up and may change with notice for future billing periods. Annual plans may include a discount as described at checkout.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the current billing period.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by us and our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service. You keep ownership of your content and code.

10. Confidentiality

We treat the non-public content you submit (repositories, feedback, messages) as confidential and use it only to provide and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service — including from any change made by the AI coding agent. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your repositories and sites, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in Bosnia and Herzegovina will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

17. Contact
